Wish me luck. I am hoping I can just call and they will ship out the missing item with no problems. Everything was great with the Flaming Bob Chauvet, except they forgot to ship an imporant piece, the flame. I just opened the first of 4 I ordered for the first time and I am missing the silk material.
If anyone has an idea on how to quiet this down-I'm all ears. I'm not sure if there is away to get around this, but the fan sound is a little distracting. It may not fool you into thinking it's a real fire, but it's pretty close. Also, I notice that Amazon offers a replacement light kit. So I do have a comparison. This is a good product for the money.
It is well made and well designed with good quality materials. I realize that it needs a fan and maybe this problem can't be easily solved, but I wish it were quieter. I have an antique pot belly stove. Why not 5 stars. I recommend getting this because these colored halogen bulbs are not easily found elsewhere. I put it inside and boy does it look real.
This replaces a similar device that I wasn't happy with.
I use it as a prop with a crackling fire cd. It's quiet and puts out a fire glow that draws people to it. Love it. Looks great and my niece warms her little hands to it.
That wasn't going to work for my needs and I cancelled order immediately. When I ordered it online I received an email right back that this item was on back order and it would take 6-10 day to receive. Four days after my event your product arrived and I had to send it back and now your charging me a stocking fee.That's a problem it make me not want to purchase anything from your company and definately not online because it's to hard to get your attention. I think this product would have been perfect for an event I had scheduled. We were doing a Night of Champions and I wanted to build Olympic torches with the Chauvet Bob Flame.
